Insurance Specialist

The Insurance Specialist will act as a liaison, provide service information and resolve any emerging problems our customers might face with insurance-related transactions with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities will include maintaining customers insurance requirements are kept current, managing relationships with third-party insurance providers, preparing tracking reports on Insurance deficiencies, evaluating loss claims and supporting documentation, handle incoming calls, identify and assess customer’s needs to achieve satisfaction, build sustainable relationships and trust with customer through open and interactive communication, document customer interactions regarding insurance compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare documentation to complete requirements for insurance claim processing.
  • Run weekly Lender Placed Insurance reports submitted on a weekly basis.
  • Clear syndication and audit exceptions.
  • Facilitates between customer and insurance company during processing of a claim.
  • Communicate with customer and agent for timely and efficient processing of open claims.
  • Assist with offering insurance products as necessary.
  • Assist with internal staff in review of insurance coverage requirements.

Contract Maintenance

  • Maintains customer records by uploading contract insurance renewals, reinstatements and cancellations.
  • Keeps records of customer interactions by logging all customer touches in LP/Salesforce.
  • Process supplemental Lender Placed Insurance file on deficient contracts.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up on outstanding insurance issues.

Customer Service

Answers incoming requests from Customers, internal or external in a Fast, Friendly, and Flexible manner.

  • Identifies and assess customer’s needs to achieve satisfaction.
  • Provides accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
  • Effectively manages large amounts of customer requests.
  • Works with Title/Insurance Supervisor/Manager to ensure customer-centric service is being delivered in a superior manner.
  • Assists with special projects assigned by Title/Insurance Management.
